We have had lots of enquiries for weddings over the last month and we talk to our couples about the cost of their wedding and it is expensive!
Bride 2 B recently did a survey on what weddings in Ireland Cost and they reckon around €20,000.
Traditionally Ireland have big weddings anything from 80 or 90 guests up to whatever and you wonder where your budget goes. The most important part of the day is the ceremony and when you take that away you are left with most of the €20,000 regardless if it is religious or not.
Your money is spent on Venue, Band, DJ, and Dress’s for bride and bridesmaids, Suits for men, Makeup artist, Hair Stylist ,Jewellery ,Décor, Florist, Cake ,Invitations ,Cars, video, photographer and lots of other things that have cropped up lately such as sweets trolleys , chocolate fountains and Ice Cream vans.
How long will your memories last – of all those expensive Wedding Services ?
The alcohol, food, and cake get flushed down the drain (quite literally).
The venue and accommodations will serve as faint backdrops to your memories.
The flowers will wilt and your fabulous decorations, will all be tossed away.
The entertainment will become a ringing in your ears the following morning.
Your make-up will be washed away and your gorgeous hair slept on.
Of all these unnecessary, impractical, and conspicuous expenses, your Photos and Wedding Video
will be the only 2 things you take away from your Wedding Day.
Their personal value to you and your family will increase with time,
especially when your Children can re-live Mam & Dads wedding !
So as you get ready to Carve up the Budget, make sure you don’t cut out the best bits – your Memories.
You will thank yourself in years to come, for choosing to hire fully qualified professionals
to record your Wedding Album and Wedding Video … even if you can’t remember what the cake tasted like !
By not choosing a qualified professional to cover your wedding you are taking the chance of not having these precious memories to hand down from generation to generation
Below are some examples of pictures you won’t be able to create after your wedding such as the excitement of getting ready, walking up the isle and seeing all the expressions of your guests, saying your vows and of course the first kiss.
The pictures you will be able to create again are the set up shots such as the families and more formal groups but do you really want to get everyone dressed up again, get flowers, hair and makeup done, not to mention the expense and they will never look as good has your wedding day.
