The Wedding of Michelle and Barry 6th December 2014
A lovely story of how Michelle and Barry met, Michelle was cycling in Dublin when the wheel of her bike got stuck in the Lewis track and she fell, along came Barry who is a guard to the rescue. After visiting Michelle in hospital romance blossomed, it was only a matter of time before Barry got down on one knee to propose.
We started off Michelle and Barry’s wedding in Kilronan Castle Co Roscommon as our beautiful bride was getting ready. Emma stayed with Michelle and I headed off to Barry who was getting ready in a nearby house. Barry is from Tipperary and nothing would do until he played a bit of hurley with his groomsmen Willie and Mick.
We then headed off to the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin in Keodue which was close to Kilronan. The church looked great with flowers from Kats Flowers.
Barry and groomsmen with their Christmas socks were ready for Michelle arrival and when she arrived with her dad Michael and Bridesmaids Ann-Marie and Catriona she looked stunning. It was very cute when pageboy Adam came down aisle holding a here comes the bride sign closely followed by Bridesmaids. Then the moment everyone waited for was here as Michelle walked down the aisle with her dad to music by Sean Costello.
Fr Billy Reilly put everyone at ease and there were lots of smiles from a very happy Bride and Groom.
We stopped off at a jetty for some stunning photographs of the bride and groom on the way back to the castle. The Castle was beautiful with all the Christmas decorations.
We stayed for the speeches which happened after the first course, we had time to have a bite and make the long trip home. We had a great day with a lovely couple and their families and friends and as you can see the photographs are beautiful.
