Wednesday 19th August 2015 we headed to Blackrock in Co Louth for Keira Malone and Brian Curran’s wedding. Emma started off in the Keira’s house taking photographs of our bride and bridesmaids Trea Duffy and Leah Malone O Hare getting ready. There were very proud parents Paul and Olivia when they saw our bride in her dress for the first time. Meanwhile at St Oliver Plunkett Church Blackrock I was taking photographs of Brian with his best man Michael Curran and Groomsman Kieran McNeill. The church looked great after Caroline Darcy of Fab Fleurs had done her magic with her flowers and candles.
Then the moment everyone was waiting for , the bride and dad arriving in a beautiful White Daimler from Dixons Cars. Brian was nervously waiting for his bride at the top of the isle but not for long, the music started and Keira with her dad Paul made their way up to be greeted by Brian and Fr Brian White who put everyone at ease before starting the ceremony.
We had lighting of candles, readings from Chloe Curran and Paul Malone and then the most important part of the day, the exchange of vows. They didn’t need any encouragement and we had their first kiss as a married couple, applauded by their parents Maureen, Kevin, Olivia, Paul and all the guests.
We then had the lighting of the marriage candle followed by prayers of the faithful read by Joseph O Byrne, Daniel Whyte, Ollie Paakaanan and Emma Bailey. The two Mothers Olivia and Maureen brought the offertory gifts to wonderful music from Philomena Gilmore, Aidan Mulholland, Paul Mullan and Paul Steele.
After the ceremony we had the signing of register on the alter and then we took a group picture from the balcony before leaving church. It had been raining earlier but when we got to the door it had stopped just in time for the newly married couple to meet their families and guests.
Before heading to Darver Castle we headed to the beech for some stunning photographs and to our amazement Keira wanted to go for a paddle in the sea.
Mary from Darver Castle greeted us with some Champaign on our arrival to the reception and as you will see we used the grounds and interior to take some breath-taking pictures. There was lots of music including our bride and groom joining in before their grand entrance to Sean Boland singing.
We had some very emotional speeches before we left; we would like to wish Keira and Brian all the best of luck in the future
