On the 25th September 2015 we made the long journey to Kilkenny to photograph Martina Phelan and John Brophy’s wedding.
Emma started with Martina and her bridesmaids Laura O’Brien and Kayleigh Walsh getting ready, while I headed off to meet up with our groom John, Best man Bernard Brophy and Groomsman John Dunne.
After taking pictures of the men I headed back to brides house and be greeted by Martina’s mum Kathleen with a cup of tea and a piece of Christmas cake. Martina has a large family and they all started to arrive at the house including Flower Girl Aileen Phelan, Page Boys Cameron and Finlay Beaton, Caelum Houlihan and Harry Hickey.
St Brendan’s Church, Inistioge Co Kilkenny was or next stop. The church was full as Martina and her mum Kathleen made their way up the smallest Isle I have ever seen to the music of Andrea Ruth Houlihan and company. They were met by Fr Richard Scriven who put everyone at ease and the ceremony started.
The reception was in the beautiful Mount Juliet Estate, which was a dream to photograph. The estate is that big they provided a large people carrier to take us to the various locations we had picked out on our recent visit before wedding. The grounds are amazing and the house absolutely beautiful. Have a look at some of the photographs below and we hope you like them.
We would like to wish Martina and John all the best of luck in the future.
