On the 23rd October we had the pleasure of photographing Nora Neary and Kevin Dowdry’s Wedding. After almost 9 years together they decided to get married in St Peters Church Dromiskin followed by the reception in The Four Seasons Hotel Carlingford.
The first person we met was Nora’s dad James fixing the ribbons on the cars , Inside the house there was a lot of activity with Sarah Keogh ( Hair by Sarah) doing the hair and Sinead McMahon doing the make up . Our bridesmaids Christina, Patricia and Siobhan were busying themselves while Nora was getting her make up done being watched very carefully by Alfie her dog.
We headed off to chapel and met up with Gerry Duffy who was doing the video before Kevin arrived with his best man Brendan, Groomsmen Martin and Nicholas.
The church was looking great after The Flower Studio had done their magic and all was ready for the arrival of our bride.
The moment arrived and Katie Hughes started to sing and our Junior Usher Ryan Neary led the way followed by Pageboy Jamie Dowdry. Flower girl Ella Rose Reilly , Bridesmaids and then a very proud dad James walked his daughter up the aisle.
James Neary and Olivia King did the readings, then we had exchange of vows and Fr Michael Cusack put everyone at ease as you will see from photographs.
Prayers of the faithful were read by Tony Redmond, Aaron Neary, Megan King, Jack Morgan, Jordan Jones and Michael Breen. Communion reflection was read by Linda Nulty.
We had the signing of register and group picture before our very happy bride and groom walked down aisle to music by Katie Hughes.
We had a guard of honour from Dunleer Fire Station were Kevin is a fireman, before we left we had lots of confetti.
Then it was off to beautiful Carlingford and as you will see we got some stunning photographs. During our photoshoot we took a lovely picture of our bride with Ella Rose Reilly our flowergirl. It started to rain but we were ready to go to hotel to take family pictures and cutting of cake.
We would like to wish Nora and Kevin all the best of luck in the future
