We have Ballymascanlon Hotel Bridal; Fair on Sunday and we asked a number of our couples why did they book there. The first reason was the surroundings, it is beautiful inside and out, next was the service, this has come from many years of weddings, and then the food which is always lovely.

We also asked if the surroundings were the same and there service and food were not good would they book and they all said no, Ballymascanlon has got it right and that is why they get so many bookings.

Then we had a think about our own photography service, there are many companies that do a cheap version “The Story Book “ album and from the outside it looks great but when you open the album it’s a completely different story, pictures out of focus, badly posed, designed without care and printed on material that will tear or might fade. Has the old saying goes “don’t judge a book by its cover”. The wedding album plays a significant part of the investment with professional photographers and for a good reason. Higher end albums are built to last a lifetime and beyond. A cheap album could start to discolour, warp or even lose pages over time. Getting a quality wedding album at the start can save additional costs and possible grief in the long run.
